Updating and Upgrading

We use the two terms to describe two different procedures:

Update

Updating is keeping your NetManager up to date with our frequent software releases. These add new features and fix bugs and are performed over the Internet.

Upgrade

Upgrades are very infrequent and are performed using a CDROM or USB stick that we send to customers with valid support contracts.
