Allowed sites (a.k.a. whitelists or allowlists)
Most customers will have a list of known safe sites that are frequently accessed either by users or automated systems (e.g. antivirus software). There is no point in applying filtering to such sites, so it is usual to set up an allowed site list which bypasses blacklist checks and content filtering. Here is an example list:
